Carlingford Lough Greenway
LOUTH COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROAD
Section 75 Roads Act, 1993
(Roads Regulations 1994)
Louth County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to close:
The Carlingford Lough Greenway from a point 650m Northwest of its junction with Local Road L7051 to a point 2.4km Southeast of Victoria Lock.
The closure, which is to facilitate works at Narrow Water Bridge, will maintain traffic via Fathom Line and R179 Newry Road and L7051.
To pedestrian and cyclist traffic at all times from Tuesday 26th May 2026, for a period of 5 weeks inclusive to facilitate works at Narrow Water Bridge.
Local access and emergency access will be maintained.
