Getting to Ireland

The most westerly country in Europe is thankfully very easy and reasonable. Carlingford is just over an hours drive from its' two capital cities & less than an hours flight from anywhere in the UK. Mainland Europe is well serviced too - 1 ½ to 2 ½ hour flight. America (next stop, flying due west) is serviced directly from Dublin & Belfast - Boston, - 4 to 8 hours away

From the South

The major roads that service County Louth are the M1 - the main Dublin-Belfast route and the N2 - the main Dublin-Derry route

From the North

2 After about 10 miles, exit at junction 7, left signposted to Newry on the A1
